An account written by George Johnstone Kinnaird, an employee of the Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) who was living in Fort Ellice, Manitoba at the time of the conflict. Contains commentary on the Métis and different First Nations involved in the uprising from military and HBC perspectives.
