Study examined evidence collected from 41 archaeological sites in order to gather information on ecological adaptations to the fur trade economy. Three ethnic/cultural groups' settlements were studied: Chipewyan, Cree/Métis Cree and Euro-Canadians.
Comments on the flooding at Red Earth, Saskatchewan and how the media said people were evacuated to Prince Albert and Saskatoon, but many stayed with relatives at the Opaskwayak First Nation at The Pas, or Shoal Lake, Cumberland House and James Smith First Nations.
Survival skills are tested by both children and adults in episode 6 of a stop-motion animation series.
