Looks at the arguments put forward in support of the claim that Aboriginal peoples exhibit an inherent ecological consciousness; and examines the policy implications of expanding Aboriginal jurisdiction over environmental protection.
Summary of progress for the years 2001-2006. Ninety-one schools were surveyed regarding the number of seats available/filled, location of access programs, special admission categories, nature of support programs, and number of Aboriginal faculty.
Focuses on integrated resource management throughout comprehensive claim territories in the Arctic and Subarctic, with special attention on the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement and the Inuvialuit Final Agreement.
Measures cost of a nutritious diet for a family of four for one week using 67 standard food items. Used by Nutrition North Canada to determine subsidies. Prices from March 2011 to March 2014 for comparison purposes. Includes link to list of items in the basket.

Description
Findings indicate subjects of maternal antecedents with diabetes have known risk factors for non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM or adult onset diabetes). The study doesn't identify whether there is a genetic or maternal environmental reason for this association.
Describes the current state of crime and violence in Inuit communities and the programs and services that exist to reduce or eliminate violence against women and girls.

Description
Focus is on families dealing with disabilities and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FASD). Highlights initiatives undertaken in Manitoba, the Yukon, Nunavut, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Labrador.
Information gathered through focus groups comprised of both urban and on-reserve individuals. Six dominant themes emerged: colonialism, attitudes toward traditions, condoms, othering, stigmas, and prevention strategies.
