Description and evaluation of healing and training project which involved weekly talking circles for women and girls, workshops, individual counselling, and on-the-land camps. Sources of information include project files, Aboriginal Healing Foundation Process Evaluation Survey, key informant interviews with healing team and service providers, and documents and data collected by community support coordinator.
Identifies the goals and objectives of managing the mineral resources in Nunavut including: capacity development, environmental stewardship and sustainability, community participation, infrastructure development, business development, and development of an effective approval process.

Interviews community residents about impacts and changes of mining experience: changes to skills and experience; changes to family wages and household economy; new opportunities; employment; alcohol; traditional economy, and infrastructure and services.
Study researchers conducted interviews with 140 Aboriginal women in eight sites, both urban and rural, across Canada in order to formulate policy recommendations that would support full cultural lives while pursuing contemporary work or education.

Summarizes findings from two phases of project which investigated whether poor indoor air quality could be responsible for the high rates of severe lower respiratory infections in Inuit children. Indoor air quality in 20 Cape Dorset residences and ventilation rates in 100 dwellings from four communities were measured.
