Federal government review of Aboriginal life in the prairie provinces, covering areas such as pre-contact, explorers and traders, introduction of the horse, colonization, treaties, missionaries, the Northwest Resistance and education.
Research focused on data collection in Saskatoon and Winnipeg and consisted of literature review, interviews with people with lived experience of homelessness, and service providers. Concludes with four protocols based on situating one's self, visiting - Keeoukaywin, hospitality, and treating people as you would treat your own relative.
