Goal of study was to gather information on extent of culturally appropriate health supports and to make recommendations that would increase integration of traditional, spiritual and cultural practices into existing services and programming.
Focuses on the forced relocation of the Kitsilano Reserve, originally located near the Burrard Street Bridge in Vancouver. (For illustrations, see EBSCOhost version)
Study included developing a database organizations providing housing services and their policies, procedures, and practices, case studies of effective organizations, and identification of best practices.

Looks at articles published in The Province, the Vancouver Sun, and the Vancouver Times between 1957 and 1970, and analyzes the language that was used to describe the women and their deaths.
Overview of program started by Vancouver Parks Board in partnership with the Vancouver Native Health Society and Board of Education to promote physical activity.
Documentary focuses on 20 year history of the annual women's memorial march for missing and murdered women, and the personal stories of residents of the neighbourhood. Based on a concept developed by the Downtown Eastside Power of Women Group.
