Description
Story of two nurses, one an Indigenous Australian registered nurse, and the other a non-Indigenous community health nurse, both from Southern Australia and their travels meeting Indigenous people in Canada.
The James Mann Family genealogy was researched and compiled by family member Frank Nash in December 1996. Only the research he compiled on the family of George Gwynne Mann was scanned for this database. Included in this research is G. G. Mann's account of his family's two month captivity in Wandering Spirit's camp from April to June 1885 (see historical note).
This documentary reflects on Kainai (Blood tribe) history, governance, survival, and living culture as it explores the repatriation of artifacts from Europeans.
