Cohort consisted of Program participants who were released to the community on day parole, full parole, and statutory release. Study assessed whether taking part in program reduced the risk of returning to substance abuse and results were compared to Aboriginal offenders who had been enrolled in the moderate and high intensity National Substance Abuse Programs.
Discusses the importance of Aboriginal viewpoints on consultation processes and determines if the way in which consultation processes are being carried out impacts participation by Aboriginal people.
Discusses case studies of successful Aboriginal engagement in environmental monitoring and management in northern Canada to develop best practices and find new approaches for Aboriginal participation.
Looks at the growing alignment of economic interests between the Aboriginal population and the country’s business sector including Aboriginal communities seeking out opportunities in the market economy; Canadian companies employing Aboriginal people and partnering with Aboriginal communities; and federal and provincial governments addressing the economic and social challenges of the Aboriginal population.

Examines party preferences and reasons for variations. Data sources were aggregate Elections Manitoba vote returns in 2007 provincial election and survey conducted between March 2005 and December 2008.
Report designed to inform Ontario's Best Start Child and Family Centre model for delivering child and family services. Includes results of literature review, case study conducted at Regent Park and Scarborough sites which involved stakeholder interviews with 95 respondents and focus groups, and discussion of how the general model can be adapted to meet Indigenous early childhood and family services needs.
