Project's objective was to build research capacity. Phase one consisted of on-line survey to establish baseline information. Phase two consisted of case studies conducted in four communities; involved interviews with 39 entrepreneurs and focus group discussions with 40 non-entrepreneurs.
Review of the federal government's policies and programs designed for Aboriginal preschool aged children 2.5 to 6 years of age established from 1994 to 2005.
Discusses a curriculum module which looks at assimilation practices and the forcible removal of Indigenous children from their families to residential schools.
