Contains statistics on Aboriginal health worker/community health worker and Aboriginal healers. Rural and remote is defined as areas with less than 10,000 core population.
Data for: mortality (apparent accidental deaths from fentanyl/non-fentanyl opioids), confirmed drug and alcohol toxicity deaths (both accidental and suicides), opioid dispensing, emergency department visits, hospitalizations, and emergency medical response.
Project gathered information on health, well-being and access to health services that would inform policy planning, delivery of programs, and measurement of outcomes.
Statistics for overdose events from January 31, 2015 - November 30, 2016 and for overdose deaths from January 31, 2015 - July 31, 2016.
