Contains statistics on Aboriginal health worker/community health worker and Aboriginal healers. Rural and remote is defined as areas with less than 10,000 core population.
Data for: mortality (apparent accidental deaths from fentanyl/non-fentanyl opioids), confirmed drug and alcohol toxicity deaths (both accidental and suicides), opioid dispensing, emergency department visits, hospitalizations, and emergency medical response.
Project gathered information on health, well-being and access to health services that would inform policy planning, delivery of programs, and measurement of outcomes.
Statistics for overdose events from January 31, 2015 - November 30, 2016 and for overdose deaths from January 31, 2015 - July 31, 2016.

Description
Results of cross-sectional, interviewer-administered survey of 874 adults living on two Cree reserves in Saskatchewan conducted from May 2012 to August 2013. Found association between interpersonal discrimination and depression.
Survey asked indeterminate, term and casual employees with at least six months of continuous service to rate 55 statements. Twenty-one were benchmark questions common to federal, provincial and territorial government public service Engagement Surveys across Canada. Total of 1,692 respondents participated.
RCAP 125 contains a transcript of a portion of a sitting of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples at The Fern Resort, Orillia, Ontario. This portion includes presentations of individuals made at a round table concerned with self-government; presentations dealing with Youth; presentations discussing the topic of Aboriginal women in the Aboriginal community; as well as presentations dealing with the Orillia Fish Weirs and a separate presentation concerning the "Extinguishment of Treaty Rights."
