Prior to this Beatty had a career in journalism and production, as well as management at SaskTel.Film about César Newashish, Attikamek of the Communauté Atikamekw De Manawan, who builds a canoe in the traditional or old way, using only birch bark, cedar splints, spruce roots and gum.
