Based on results of case study in Moose Deer Point, looks at research to further the relationship between Canadian First Peoples and the philanthropic community.

2004 Agreement between the Beausoleil First Nation, Curve Lake First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation and Moose Deer Point First Nation, the United Anishnaabeg Councils and the Crown (Canada). Purpose is to establish intergovernmental relations and structures for operation.

Historical background and submission to Indian Claims Commssion (ICC) regarding whether the Crown's lawful obligations were fulfilled for promises of land and economic assistance. ICC recommended, If the obligations were not fulfilled, the claim should be accepted for negogiation under the Specific Claims Policy.
