Before school was opened, this agreement was negotiated between Northwest Angle 37 First Nation, Iskatewizaagegan 39 Independent First Nation, Shoal Lake 40 First Nation and The Presbyterian Church of Canada. It stipulated how the school was to be run and is the only one of its kind known to be in existence. Also known as "The Thirteen Point Agreement".
