Her extensive memoir is made up of several short stories and anecdotes about the many communities she worked in. These include Onion Lake, Kehewin Reserve, Leask, Sturgeon Lake, Cold Lake, Fort Qu'Appelle, One Arrow Reserve, Piapot Reserve and many in British Columbia later in her career.
