A full-length photograph of Gus Bear, Cree man from Shoal Lake Reserve, which is a Swampy Cree Indian reserve on the Carrot River, (about 70? miles) east of Nipawin. The only village there is known officially as Pakwaw Lake after an Cree word for Shoal Lake.
