Purpose of project was to identify principles and practices of effective and respectful engagement between First Nations communities and public health units in Northeaster Ontario. Interviewees were drawn from five organizations: Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Aboriginal Engagement and Outreach, Health Sciences North/Northeastern Ontario Cancer Centre, North-East Local Health Integration Network, Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and Weeneebayko Area Health Authority.
