Website contains links to treaties covering the Mi'kmaq and Maliseet people in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. These treaties did not involve cession of land, but dealt with hunting, fishing, trading rights with the British, and continuation of customary and religious practices. The website also lists rulings by the Supreme Court for the period 1990-2000.

Data indicated the Eskasoni Mi'kmaq study group was at a greater risk for diseases and the need for long-term care is increasing. Results have implications for the health care system and health prevention measures that should be targeted for this group.

Looks at barriers faced by Aboriginal students trying to acquire post-secondary education and move into the skilled labour force. Study consisted of interviews/focus groups in three case study communities located in Atlantic Canada, a literature search, and identification of promising practices.
