Aboriginal Women's Experiences of Accessing Health Care when State Apprehension of Children is Being Threatened

Study conducted through analysis of secondary and primary interviews with Aboriginal women and healthcare providers. Found that while perceptions of racism, judgement and discrimination did not influence decisions to seek medical attention for their children, they did affect women's decisions about accessing services for themselves.
