Booklet relating to the Interior Salish people of coastal BC, describing various aspects of Interior Salish culture such as daily subsistence, spirituality, shamanism, family life and legends.
Focused on education, work, unemployment, housing, family and agriculture. Biggest problems were found with non-market activities such as subsistence fishing and hunting.
Virtual exhibition divided into six sections: how we lived with the buffalo; how we lived with the land; how we lived with other people; our world; and traditional stories.

RCAP 32 contains files from the sitting of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples in Waswanipi, Quebec. This sitting of the Commission contains presentations on a variety of subjects such as education, health care, unemployment, child and family welfare, and the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement. Each presentation can be viewed individually on this site.

The presenters discuss reasons for the decline of Aboriginal languages, their importance, curriculum, and their efforts to teach Ojibway to children.
